1. During intubation, it is necessary to be gentle and choose the size of the catheter so that it can easily pass through the glottis fissure. If it is too thick or inserted forcefully, it may cause damage to the throat and trachea, and if it is too detailed, it is not conducive to breathing.
2. The tip of the catheter should pass through the glottis and then penetrate 5-6cm deeper, so that the cuff completely crosses the glottis and does not accidentally enter one side of the bronchus or esophagus.
3. Inflate the cuff to precisely seal the gap between the catheter and the tracheal wall, and avoid blindly injecting a large amount of air that may cause ischemia and necrosis of the tracheal wall.
4. After placing the surgical position, try tracheal suction and check if the catheter is unobstructed.
