The physiological, psychological, and economic acceptance of dressings by patients is also very important. Patients with different constitutions have varying degrees of sensitivity to dressings, and some dressings may cause skin allergies in some patients. Some patients cannot accept dressings with obvious odors, such as hydrocolloids and alginates. If patients have high requirements for quality of life, the comfort and ease of use of dressings become important reference factors for choosing dressings. New dressings are relatively expensive, but good dressings can shorten the frequency of replacement. Finally, dressings should be used according to the patient's requirements.

2. Select dressings based on wound evaluation. First-stage healing wounds should be treated with gauze or film; Shallow wounds should be treated with thin films; Wound water gel with little to moderate exudation; Wounds with moderate to severe exudation should be treated with alginate salts; The wound with dry necrosis should use hydrogel and hydrocolloid.

3. Dynamic evaluation during use. Due to the constantly changing condition of the wound, wound evaluation must be conducted at regular intervals. Assess at any time whether the most suitable dressing has been selected and whether its use is correct based on the progress of wound healing or the degree of deterioration.
