Medical transparent patches are mainly made of non-woven fibers and do not contain drugs. It is a disposable sterile product. Mainly used for fixing intravenous infusion catheters, fixing arteriovenous catheters, and protecting wounds.
1. Fixed intravenous infusion indwelling needle: When children who need long-term infusion or those whose blood vessels are difficult to find need to place indwelling needles, medical transparent patches should be used to fix them;
2. Fixed arteriovenous catheters: If patients with long-term serious diseases need arteriovenous catheters for extracorporeal nutrition or dialysis, they also need to be fixed with medical transparent patches;
3. Wound protection: For surgical incisions, traumatic wounds, chronic ulcers, and umbilical cord wounds in newborns, medical transparent patches are needed to fix and protect the wound, avoid infection, and promote healing.
Medical transparent patches should be locally fixed to prevent detachment and replaced regularly. Local disinfection should be performed before each use to avoid local wounds or skin infections.
