The nose is prone to sweating. Before using the fixed stickers, the skin should be clean and dry!
Mainly used for nose, winding fixed nasogastric feeding tube, V-shaped can fix double tube nasogastric feeding tube, L-shaped can fix single tube nasogastric feeding tube, patients according to the needs of selection.
》Select the area for the placement of the securement device. Note:The line or tube should be already inserted in the patient.
》Prepare the skin according to the standard hospital protocol.
》Skin prep or hair removal may be required on some patients for better adhesion.
》Open the top flap, remove the interior liner and hold the flap open.
》Slide the securement device under so that the line or tube is in the center of the exposed adhesive.
》Secure the top flap over the line or tube and apply gentle pressure to the center fabric area over the adhesive
》Hold the securement in position while removing the paper backing from one side, then the other, to secure on the skin surface
