1.Initiate by aligning the Hemostatic Dressing so that its central portion is directly over the puncture site. Place the pad gently and press lightly with your thumb while you're preparing to remove the needle. Maintain this pressure during needle withdrawal.
2.After taking out the needle, keep up the pressure with your thumb. Open up the folded paper and peel away a section measuring about 2 cm (similar in size to the width of your thumb).
3.While continuing to apply pressure, carefully pull one end of the dressing's backing, extending it by 2 cm. Be cautious not to overextend the end of the backing to avoid warping it.
4.Keep pressing down to ensure the pad remains in position. Secure the backing to the skin with a firm hand, then methodically attach the full length of the folding paper in that area.
5.To prevent the pad from moving, keep applying pressure to its backside while alternating thumbs, making sure there is no slippage or reduction in pressure.
6.Still pressing down to avoid displacement, peel away the folding paper on the other side in the same manner and secure the backing by stretching it out by around 2 cm.
7.After securing both sides of the backing, continue to apply pressure and watch for successful hemostasis. Attach the time label only after ensuring complete hemostasis.
